Mosan Farm is a dairy experience farm that raises dairy cattle and provides children with dairy cattle experience.

Basic Principles of Mosan Farm

Mosan Farm is to promote importance of milk to consumers. You are welcomed to Mosan anytime for learning and resting.

To provide children with rural experience, children can touch the animals and try milking the cattle, feeding calves and cows in various experience programs. Children can meet various animals in the farm.

Observing Mother Cows

• 5AM ~ 6AM Cleaning stable

  The stables should be clean for dairy cattle to produce fresh milk.

• 6AM ~ 7AM Feeding dairy cattle

  Feeding cows with grass(hay) or assorted feed of various grain mix.

• 7AM ~ 8AM Morning milking

  Milking is to draw milk from dairy cattle. While feeding cattle, prepare for milking. When the preparation is complete, start milking one by one

• 8AM ~ 5PM Taking care of calves

  When morning work is done, take care of calves, check dairy cattle’s condition, produce fertilizer with livestock excretion, take care of the stable surrounding and prepare feed for the cows.

• 5PM ~ 7PM Evening milking

  Like morning work, clean the stable, feed dairy cattle and start evening milking. Some farms do milking 3 times a day but most farms do milking in the morning and evening, that is, twice a day.

• 7PM ~ Observing mother cows

  Prepare for delivery of baby cows if there are pregnant cows in the farm. Just like humans, it is hard to tell when a pregnant cow will give birth, so 24-hour watch is needed.
